Interior Finishes
Salperton’s interior may be described as “warm, calm
contemporary”. The use of Oak and Walnut with a Wenge fits perfectly with the
cool calm colours used in mind the upholstery and bulkheads. The joinery style
is simple, clean and crisp with a tactile countertop nosing incorporating a
practical upstand and a walnut bead for emphasis.
The Walnut cornice gives a crisp emphasis between bulkhead
and deckhead. Oak floor perimeters in wide boards combined with natural cotton
carpet in an off-white colour reflect the light bulkheads and deckheads.
Natural fibres maintain the feeling of calm, leather, bronze, granite, onyx and
slumped glass continues the ‘natural’ theme throughout.
Spars and Rigging
Five spreader Martin Spars 60m main mast and Leisure furl booms are constructed from carbon fibre. Painted in Fleet white. Discontinuous Navtec rod rigging. The main sail and mizzen are fully battened with the Leisure furl in-boom furling and reefing systems.
Sails
